11/25 KenPom rankings update
MBB: For the first time this season, the Missouri Valley has two Top-100 KenPom teams
For the first time this season, the Missouri Valley Conference now has two teams ranked in the Top-100 of the KenPom computer rankings.
After their 94-57 win over Saint Francis, Belmont jumped ten spots to #97. This is the first time since the end of the 2021-22 season the Bruins have been ranked in KenPom’s Top 100.
The Valley went 2-3 in the non-conference on Monday. Bradley picked up the only other win for the conference with an 88-64 victory over Princeton down in Orlando. That win bumped the Braves up 13 spots to #123.
Murray State, Southern Illinois and Evansville all lost MTE games on Monday. The Racers fell five spots to #120 after their loss to McNeese. SIU dropped nine spots after losing to UAB, and Evansville tumbled 20 spots to #303 after their 78-59 loss to Charleston.
Murray State and Bradley both have chances today to grab the Valley’s best non-conference win of the season.
