2028 recruit Zenner says she has Murray State offer
WBB: The Nashville product says she was on campus earlier this week
Ava Zenner, a prospect in the 2028 recruiting class, posted on X that she has received a scholarship offer from Murray State.
According to her X account, Zenner now has offers from Murray State, Eastern Illinois, UT Martin, South Alabama and Lipscomb.
Playing for Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Zenner helped lead FRA to a 23-13 record and a trip to the Tennessee Division II-A state semifinals this past season. The 5’7 guard earned All-State honors as a freshman from the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.
After a recent AAU event, Prep Girls Hoops - Tennessee wrote the following about Zenner: “Heady PG who is controlling the pace of the game. This young lady is one of the best in the state, especially when it comes to running an offense. She is shifty, bringing that team-first mentality, someone who knows how and when to feed the hot hand prior to getting hers. Her specialty is facilitating, yet she can get herself from multiple spots on the floor. Add in her ability to defend and neutralize her opponent, you get one solid prospect in this young lady. Her game speaks volumes, and her style of play elevates those around her.”
The rising sophomore is also an excellent student, as she boasts a 4.5 GPA.
