7-footer says he has Murray State offer
MBB: Jack Thelen is a recruit from Minnesota in the Class of 2027
Jack Thelen, a Class of 2027 recruit, posted on X that he holds a scholarship offer from Murray State.
PrepHoops.com lists the 7-foot Thelen as one of the Top 20 sophomores this season in the state of Minnesota.
The product of Otsego, Minnesota averaged 13.8 points per game this year for St. Michael-Albertville High School. According to his X page, Murray State’s offer is the first Thelen has received.
Rodger Bohn covered one of Thelen’s games in February, and posted this on X about him: “(Thelen) showed ridiculous potential vs loaded Hopkins squad tonight. Unstoppable going over right shoulder, has head on swivel passing out of post, and made number of cross court assets to open shooters.”
Here are extended highlights of Thelen from a game in January where his team lost, but he led all scorers with 22 points in the game.
