Quincy Allen, a 6’8 junior forward who played last season at Chicago State, reposted a tweet on social media that he’s heard from Murray State.
Allen was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school in 2021 when he signed with Colorado. After redshirting the 2021-22 season, Allen played in 11 games and averaged 1.6 points in his first year playing with the Buffaloes.
The Silver Spring, Maryland product transferred closer to home and headed to James Madison for his sophomore season. Allen played in eight games, averaging 3.8 points per game, before injuries ended his 2023-24 season with the Dukes.

This past season, Allen transferred to Chicago State where he put together his best collegiate season so far. He played in 20 games, starting six times, averaging 8.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per outing.
He came on strong late in the year, as Allen averaged 13.0 points and 6.1 rebounds in the final nine games of the season.
Allen’s agent says, along with Murray State, Allen has heard from Fresno State, Ball State, Queens, Mount St. Mary’s, Norfolk State, Binghamton, Long Beach State and Austin Peay.
