Blazquez finds new hoops home at SIUE
WBB: The freshman from Spain played in 18 games last season

Former Murray State guard Adriana Blazquez will continue her college career at SIUE.
The 6’0 forward from Madrid, Spain played in 18 games last season as a freshman with the Racers. In 56 minutes of action, she scored a total of four points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

As she has done through the spring when a former player finds a new place to play, Murray State Head Coach Rechelle Turner posted a message of support on social media. Turner wrote on X: “SIUE got a good one. Go be great Adriana.”
SIUE is coming off a 6-23 season in 2024-25, where they finished 4-16, in a tie for 10th place, in the Ohio Valley Conference. Blazquez will play against former teammate Grace Billington next year. Billington transferred from Murray State to UT Martin at the end of the season.
