Brown scores 24 to lead Canterbury to win
MBB: Brown is 19th in scoring in the New Zealand Basketball League
Tevin Brown scored 24 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out seven assists to lead the Canterbury Rams to a 96-87 win over the Southland Sharks. Brown is playing his first season in the New Zealand National Basketball League.
So far this season, Brown is averaging 17.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He’s 19th in scoring in the league so far this year in the NZNBL.
Brown went undrafted after a record-setting career at Murray State. He played two games last year with the Indiana Pacers’ Summer League team. Brown then played 45 games for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA G League. He averaged eight points per game for the Mad Ants.
