Brown will play in France next season
MBB: Brown just helped his team in New Zealand win a league championship

The French basketball franchise Metropolitans 92 announced Monday they have signed former Murray State guard Tevin Brown for next season. Metropolitans 92 plays in the French Pro League A — the top-tier of professional basketball in France. Victor Wembanyama, the #1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, played for this team last season.
Brown is coming off a successful season playing for the Canterbury Rams of the New New Zealand National Basketball League. Along with helping Canterbury to their first NBL title since 1992, he was also named the Most Valuable Player of the championship game. Before the playoffs, the NBL named Brown to their ‘All Star Five’ — the equivalent of earning First Team All-League honors.
Brown ended the season with six-straight games of scoring at least 20 points. During that six-game stretch, he averaged 23.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Brown struggled from beyond the arc for most of the season, shooting just 31.1% from three-point range. During the final six games, he caught fire shooting 47.9% (23-of-48) from deep.
