Isaiah Canaan scored a game-high 25 points, while making 7-of-10 three-pointers, to help lead Olympiacos to an 81-72 win over Aris Midea in the Greek Basket League opener for both teams.
Canaan also chipped in with four assists and one steal in 33 minutes of action.
The Murray State Hall of Famer, in his second season with Olympiacos, is off to a good start this year. He scored 14 points in the EuroLeague opener last week against Panathinaikos Athens. He is shooting 11-of-16 (68.8%) from three-point range through the first two games of the season.
Olympiacos will be back in EuroLeague action Friday when they host Barcelona.
