Charles says Murray State has offered him
MBB: The 2026 recruit helped Canada finish 5th at the FIBA U19 World Cup

Jordan Charles, a prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, posted on X that he’s received a scholarship offer from Murray State.
With Racer Head Coach Ryan Miller in attendance last week at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Switzerland, Charles put on a show for the world to see. The 6’0 point guard helped Canada finish in 5th place in the World Cup. As a 17-year-old, playing in the U19 World Cup, Charles averaged 13.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game for the Canadian national team.
His best game in the tournament came against Slovenia in group play, as Charles scored 27 points, knocking down 5-of-8 three-pointers, while grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists. Against the United States in the quarterfinals, he scored 19 points, on 7-of-14 shooting, to go along with five assists.

Joe Moussa, who covers Canadian basketball, posted this review of Charles’ effort at the World Cup: “Fearless PG Jordan Charles showcased his elite level skill and instincts. A team with future NBA lottery picks on USA couldn’t even find an answer for him. Speaks volumes about his offensive ability, shotmaking, craftiness, and unpredictability. Already picked up multiple offers as the tournament went on and will only continue to get more. Can impact at any level. Major stockriser in 2026 class.”
Here are some highlights of Charles’ performance at the World Cup.
According to his X account, Charles has received offers from Murray State, Stonehill, LIU Brooklyn, South Florida, St. Bonaventure, Arizona State, Old Dominion and UC Santa Barbara.
Charles is expected to complete his high school career at Bella Vista Prep in Phoenix, Arizona.
