MBB: The 1993-94 season ends in heartache for Scott Edgar and the Racers

As Scott Edgar looks back at his third year at Murray State for the 1993-94 season, he still believes that was his best Racer team.

“Our stuff takes a while,” Edgar said, referring to the “40 Minutes of Hell” style he had brought with him from years of working under Nolan Richardson at Arkansas. He hadn’t had the horses to run the style he wanted when he first arrived in Murray, but through patience and (most importantly) recruiting, the time had finally arrived to unleash his version of “basketball hell.”
