'Dill Family Court' unveiled in CFSB Center
MBB: The Dills have a four-decade legacy within Murray State Athletics
Murray State Athletics unveiled the newly minted ‘Dill Family Court’ at the CFSB Center on Tuesday.
Along with being a part of Murray State Athletics for four decades, the family made an investment that serves as the lead gift for the CFSB Center renovations which will be completed in time for the start of the 2026-27 college basketball season.
"We are thankful for the deep roots we have in Murray since my dad came here as part of the basketball coaching staff,” David Dill said in a statement. “It is incredibly meaningful for our family to honor the core memories we have made over the years with the court naming. It will be so special to attend Murray State basketball games in the future and see our family name etched on the court. We are proud Racers for life, and are unbelievably blessed by this recognition."
Mike Dill arrived in Murray in 1978 as part of Ron Greene’s first men’s basketball staff. David Dill played golf at Murray State, while his brother, Chris, played football for the Racers.

"The Dill family has been extremely generous with their time, talents, and treasures, and the newly-dedicated court is a testament to their longtime support and their belief in our shared vision for excellence for Murray State Athletics," Murray State Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said in a statement. "The family's gift has allowed us to proceed with the long-overdue renovation of the CFSB Center, and it will have a monumental impact on the success of Racer Basketball for generations to come.
