Domon catching 2026 NBA Draft buzz
MBB: The native of France will be a freshman with the Racers this season

The 2025 NBA Draft just ended on Thursday, but it’s never too early to look ahead to next year’s draft. There is already some buzz growing around the draft potential of one Murray State Racer who hasn’t even made it to campus yet.
Arman Jovic, who specializes in covering international basketball, posted his Top 100 2026 NBA Draft prospects, and he has Murray State’s Roman Domon listed as #48 on the list.
Domon, a 6’9 wing who will turn 20 in October, started playing in France’s developmental leagues as a 16-year-old. This season, he’s played for the BCM Gravelines Dunkerque in France’s top professional league. Domon has averaged 17.3 minutes, 6.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game for the team.

Murray State Head Coach Ryan Miller says Domon will be playing for France in the FIBA U20 European Championship from July 12th to 20th in Greece. Domon is expected to make his way to Murray after he’s done playing for his country.
In this video from last August, Domon said he hoped to have a good season with his professional team because he intended to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. While that didn’t happen, this video will give you some more insight into his mindset and what he hopes to accomplish in the game.
Here are some other recent highlights of Domon in action:
