Over the last several weeks, we’ve had you vote on who you thought were the best players in the first 100 years of Murray State Men’s Basketball. Today we continue our countdown with former Racer great Glen Green. You voted Green #19 on our list.

Green was the 1983 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, and helped the Racers win three OVC regular season championships. His 1,540 career points still rank 13th on Murray State’s all-time scoring list. Green passed away on May 14th, 2023 at the age of 61.

Today we talked with The Racer Insider Lindy Suiter to get his memories of one of the great players in Murray State Basketball history.
