One day after Southern Illinois lost to UIC, 84-82 in double overtime, in the opening round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament back in early March, the school parted ways with Head Coach Bryan Mullins. It was a move that not only surprised many around the Valley, but also left SIU players like AJ Ferguson scrambling to solidify their basketball future.
