If Murray State fans are curious about what they’ll be getting from Haven Ford, Kentucky’s 2023 Miss Basketball from Rowan County, once she puts on a Racer uniform next season, allow me to share this anecdote.
Yesterday at 10:00am, Ford and her Rowan County teammates played in the KHSAA State Softball Semifinals in Lexington. After losing to Louisville Ballard, 4-1, Ford and her family made the two-and-a-half hour trek westward to Owensboro so she could represent Kentucky in the annual Kentucky/Indiana All-Star game. They got to Owensboro at 4:00pm for a game that started 90 minutes later.
