Former Miami Hurricane Djobet signs with Omaha
MBB: The Mavericks will play Murray State in the season-opener November 3rd

Ahead of playing Murray State in The Field of 68’s Opening Day Marathon, Omaha has bolstered their roster with the late signing of 6’7 guard Paul Djobet.
In his first two collegiate seasons at Miami (FL), Djobet averaged 4.4 points in 44 games with the Hurricanes. Playing a little more than 14 minutes per game at Miami, Djobet proved to be a valuable outside shooter as he knocked down 39.2% of his shots from three-point range.

After entering the transfer portal after last season, Djobet originally signed with UAB back in May. Three months later, the former 4-star recruit had left Birmingham and was looking for a new basketball home. He’s now landed at Omaha, where he’ll try to help lead the Mavericks to a second-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Murray State and Omaha will meet on Monday, November 3rd in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at 12:30pm. It will be the second-ever meeting between the two schools, and the first since the Racers beat the Mavericks in the second round of the 2014 CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
