Happy Danero Thomas Day!
March 18th, 2010 will live forever as one of the great days in Murray State history

Happy Danero Thomas Day to those who celebrate! We know this is a national holiday for those in the Racer Nation.
Fifteen years ago today, Murray State senior guard Danero Thomas hit the biggest shot (I’m not arguing this point) in the history of Racer Basketball, as his fadeaway jumper at the buzzer beat Vanderbilt, 66-65, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on March 18, 2010.
In case you haven’t watched the highlights of the game 6,304 times already, here’s #6,305:
After the game, here are the postgame interviews with Head Coach Billy Kennedy and Danero Thomas:
This was the first NCAA Tournament win since 1988, and just the second in program history, for the Racers.
In my 6,305th watching of that video this morning, I still got goosebumps.
Happy Danero Thomas Day, everybody!
