MBB: The 4-star recruit in the 2026 recruiting class visited Murray State last month

Marcellous “Cello” Jackson posted on X that he will make his college choice on November 1st. The 4-star guard in the 2026 recruiting class has announced the five schools he will choose from: Murray State, Memphis, California, Texas State and Arkansas State.
Jackson took his official visit to Murray State the weekend of September 6th. 24/7 Sports lists the 6’5 guard as the #126 prospect nationally in the 2026 class. Originally from Cordova, Tennessee, Jackson now plays for Columbus High School in Miami, Florida. Playing alongside Duke signees Cameron and Cayden Boozer, Jackson helped lead Columbus to a fourth-straight Florida Class 7A state championship back in March.

Back in August, Jackson announced he had narrowed his list of potential schools down to nine. Since then, he’s eliminated Penn State, Temple, Virginia Tech and Seton Hall.
