Jonathan Fairell signs with team in Israel
MBB: The former Murray State forward played with the Racers from 2013-15
Former Murray State forward Jonathan Fairell has signed a contract to continue his professional career with Ashkelon in Israel’s National Basketball League.
Fairell spent two years with Murray State from 2013-15, starting all 69 games over that time. He averaged 6.1 points while shooting 59.6% from the floor, and also grabbing 6.9 rebounds per game for the Racers.
Most recently, Fairell played for Paisas in Medellin, Colombia. He averaged 11.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while helping Paisas win their first-ever Colombian Professional Basketball League championship.
The 6’7 forward has played professionally in Colombia, Austria, Belgium, France, Israel, Portugal and the Dominican Republic.
