Former Murray State forward KyeRon Lindsay announced on social media Friday night he has committed to finish his college career at UAB.
After stops at Georgia and Texas Tech in his first two years in college, Lindsay came to Murray State for his junior season. In 32 games with the Racers, Lindsay averaged 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this past year.
The highlight of Lindsay’s season was on November 16th at Middle Tennessee, where he scored 27 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out four assists and blocked five shots.

Lindsay originally announced he would enter the transfer portal back on March 18th, but he had left open the possibility of returning to Murray State to play for first year head coach Ryan Miller. On April 15th, Lindsay said he would not be returning to the Racers.
By joining UAB, Lindsay will join Racer alumni Chris Shumate in Birmingham. Shumate is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Blazers.
Last season, UAB was 24-13 overall and 13-5 in the American Athletic Conference, as the Blazers advanced to the NIT quarterfinals before losing to UC Irvine.
