LSU beats Tarleton, McMahon gets 200th win
MBB: The former Racer head coach is in his fourth season in Baton Rouge

LSU beat Tarleton State, 96-60, on Wednesday as Head Coach Matt McMahon picked up his 200th career win.
McMahon, who was the head coach at Murray State from 2015-22, was 154-67 in his seven seasons with the Racers. He led Murray State to three NCAA Tournaments in 2018, 2019 and 2022, and is the only Racer coach to win more than one NCAA Tournament game. McMahon’s 154 wins are third-most in Murray State history, behind Carlisle Cutchin (256) and Cal Luther (241).
After the Racers went 31-3 in 2022, McMahon took over the program at LSU, where he’s currently in his fourth season as head coach.
