McCullum commits to East Tennessee State
MBB: The 6'8 freshman has three years of eligibility remaining

Jordan McCullum confirms to RacerBasketball.com he is transferring to East Tennessee State.
The product of Harriman, Tennessee entered the transfer portal two weeks ago after playing in five games this season for the Racers as a freshman. He scored all eight of his points in the season-opening win against Bethel. After playing eight minutes against Bethel, McCullum played only seven minutes the rest of the season, five of which came in Murray State’s loss at Missouri State on February 1st.
Playing at East Tennessee State will get him closer to his hometown, as Johnston City and Harriman are about two hours apart.

McCullum, who sports a 6’11 wing-span, was listed as a 4-star recruit coming out of high school by ESPN. Before choosing to be a Racer, McCullum had offers from Tennessee Tech, Ole Miss, Robert Morris, Georgia, Missouri and Ohio.
In 2024, McCullum was named Tennessee’s Mr. Basketball in Class 1A. He led Harriman to a 27-3 record and a trip to the Class 1A Sectional. McCullum scored more than 2,000 points and grabbed more than 1,000 rebounds in his career. He was listed as a Top-150 prospect in the 2024 recruiting class by Rivals and 247 Sports.
Best of luck to Jordan. Unfortunately for the fans and supporters of the racers we don’t know how good or bad he is. Hope he has a great three years at East Tennessee State.
