Murray State drops to #9 in Mid-Major poll

WBB: The Racers play top-ranked South Dakota State tonight

Murray State dropped one spot to #9 in this week’s CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. The Racers won their only game last week, 79-77, in buzzer-beating fashion on the road at Southern Indiana.

South Dakota State is once again #1 in the poll, picking up 30 of a possible 31 first-place votes. The Racers and Jackrabbits will play at 7:00pm tonight in Brookings, South Dakota.

Harvard and Fairfield are ranked #2 and #3, respectively, Fairfield picked up the lone remaining first-place vote.

#13 Illinois State and #15 Belmont are the only other two Missouri Valley Conference teams in the Mid-Major Top 25 poll. Drake is in the ‘Others Receiving Votes’ category this week.
