Missouri State is leaving the Missouri Valley for Conference USA next July
When Missouri State announced earlier this summer they were leaving the Missouri Valley Conference for Conference USA next July, the reflexive question for MVC Commissioner Jeff Jackson was a simple one: What’s next? Will the Valley stay with 11 teams for the 2025-26 school year or will the conference look to add, at least, one more school as soon as possible? It’s been nearly three months since Missouri State’s decision to leave became public, but Jackson says he feels no imminent pressure to replace the Bears.
