WBB: Gayle Rogers has worked with Rechelle Turner's teams for several years

Gayle Rogers starts her weekly yoga class with the Murray State women’s basketball team.

The relationship between Rechelle Turner and Gayle Rogers goes back decades.

“She’s just been a big supporter of me and our programs all the way through my career,” Turner said. Turner knew the Rogers’ family from Bob Rogers’ 12-year tenure as Murray Independent School District Superintendent. Once Turner made the move to coach at Murray State, she enlisted Gayle’s yoga skills to help her team.
