New rule gives players less time to enter transfer portal
MBB/WBB: Coaches will now know who is leaving their program sooner
Earlier this week, the NCAA Division I Council approved a change to give college basketball players 45 days to enter the transfer portal, as opposed to the 60 days that had been previously allowed. That 45-day window will open the Monday after the NCAA Tournament’s Selection Show.
