New Hampshire guard Sami Pissis tells The Portal Report he has heard from nearly two dozen schools since entering the transfer portal, including Murray State.

The 6’3 guard from Paris, France averaged 14.8 points per game this past season for New Hampshire, as he earned Third Team All-America East Conference honors.

Along with Murray State, Pissis says he’s heard from Maryland, Washington State, Oregon State, Clemson, Gonzaga, Campbell, Tulsa, San Diego State, New Mexico, UNLV, Boise State, James Madison, UNC-Asheville, Charlotte, Western Carolina, Cal State-Northridge, Portland, Delaware, Grambling State and Central Michigan.

Pissis played his freshman season at Southeastern Louisiana, where he saw the floor in 16 games and averaged 6.8 points.

His sophomore season was spent at Chipola Junior College, where he was second in scoring on a team that finished 29-5 and made the second round of the national tournament.

This season, Pissis took a big leap at New Hampshire, as he led the Wildcats in scoring and was third in rebounding. On February 15th, he knocked down the game-winning three-pointer to beat UMass-Lowell.

While Pissis was only a 29.4% three-point shooter for the season, he made at least four in a game six different times this season, including making five triples in his 33-point performance against UMass-Lowell in January.

Since he played one season of junior college basketball, Pissis should still have two years of eligibility remaining.
