MBB: In fewer than two weeks, Murray State's 2025-26 roster will report to Murray

As the time ticks down ahead of next year’s Racers reporting to Murray for summer workouts, a pair of players posted messages to the Racer Nation on social media.
Murray State’s X account posted the following message from UC Santa Barbara transfer Ben Shtolzberg:
The 6’4 guard played in 33 games for the Gauchos this season, as UC Santa Barbara finished with a record of 21-13. Shtolzberg averaged 13.4 minutes per game, scoring 3.8 points, shooting 50.0% from the floor and 3-for-15 (20.0%) from three-point range. He had 51 assists against 20 turnovers this season for UCSB.
Rising junior guard Brayden Shorter had the following to say to Murray State fans:
The 6’5 Shorter started 33 of 34 games this year for Division II Washburn, as he averaged 15.5 points per game while shooting 36.7% from beyond the arc. He led all of Division II with 119 made three-pointers this season helping lead Washburn to the national semifinals. Shorter made at least four triples in 15 different games, while scoring in double figures 29 times.
The Springfield, Missouri product has two years of eligibility remaining.
