The Missouri Valley Conference has announced Murray State’s game against Drake on January 5th will be aired on ESPN2. That game will get started at 2:00pm.
This game is part of the Missouri Valley’s ‘Wildcard’ telecasts, where the conference puts their best game of the day on national television. The Racers are currently 6-3 overall, while Drake is 9-0 and one of six unbeaten teams left in the country. The ‘Wildcard’ selections are generally made two weeks before the game is played.
Murray State will play on national television in four of their next five games. The December 22nd game against Nebraska will be on ESPN; the December 23rd game against either Charlotte or Hawai’i will be on ESPN2; and their December 25th matchup against a yet-to-be-named opponent will air on ESPN or ESPN2.
