Racers just outside Mid Major Top 25
WBB: Murray State sits in 26th in this week's poll
Murray State is in 26th place overall, sitting at the top of the 'Others Receiving Votes’ category, in this week’s CollegeInsider.com Mid Major Top 25 poll.
South Dakota State, who is 29-3 this year, is #1 this week after receiving all 31 1st place votes.
Two Missouri Valley Conference teams are ranked in the Top 25 this week. Missouri State, who is 24-7 and shared the Valley regular season championship with the Racers, is #20. Drake, who is 21-10 and finished 4th in the Missouri Valley standings, is ranked #23.

Only eight of the 25 teams ranked in this week’s Mid Major Top 25 poll have a higher NCAA NET ranking than Murray State’s #56.
Belmont and Northern Iowa are also in the ‘Others Receiving Votes’ category this week.
Murray State, 22-7 overall and 16-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference, has earned the #1-seed in this week’s conference tournament at the Ford Center in Evansville. The Racers will play the winner of #8-seed Valparaiso and #9-seed Bradley on Friday at 12:00pm.
