Racers officially #1-seed in MVC Tourney

As expected, when Sunday’s updated NCAA NET rankings were released, Murray State has earned the #1-seed in this week’s Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. The Racers moved up from #59 to #56 in the NET with yesterday’s 109-70 win at Indiana State. Missouri State dropped a spot from #65 to #66 after their 64-54 victory over Bradley.
After the NET tiebreakers have been applied, here are the official seeds and opening round matchups for this week’s tournament:

The two semifinal games on Saturday will be played at 1:30pm (this will be the game the Racers play in if they get this far) and 4:00pm.
The championship game will be played Sunday at 1:00pm, and will air nationally on ESPN2.
