“The Missouri Valley (Conference) is a lot of half-court basketball on the women’s side,” Murray State Women’s Basketball Coach Rechelle Turner said. “A lot of banging, a lot of motion, running the shot clock down, things like that. We had to figure out, ‘How can we be different?’”
‘How can we be different’ has been the guiding principle for Turner’s team since their summer workouts began. Now that the Racers have two weeks of practices under their belt, their confidence in being different is starting to grow.
