Report: Miller to be next Racer coach
MBB: This will be the Creighton assistant coach's first head coaching job

CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein is reporting Thursday morning that Creighton Assistant Coach Ryan Miller will be named the next men’s basketball coach at Murray State.
Miller has spent the last four years at Creighton working for Greg McDermott. Prior to going to Creighton, Miller had coaching stops at Memphis, Pepperdine and New Mexico, and then was Associate Head Coach at Auburn, UNLV and TCU. Miller is the brother of Mike Miller, the former NBA player, who is now the agent for Ja Morant.
Miller will replace Steve Prohm, who was let go last week after three years at Murray State in his second coaching stint with the program.
There has been no official announcement from Murray State’s athletic department as of Thursday morning.
Has MVC footprint experience and a possible network connection to Ja Morant, this selection may check the important boxes.
