Sancomb says he has Murray State offer
MBB: The 6'5 point guard is the West Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year

Eli Sancomb, a 6’5 combo guard from Wheeling, West Virginia announced on X he has received a scholarship offer from Murray State.
Sancomb, who plays for Wheeling Central Catholic, was recently named West Virginia’s Gatorade Player of the Year. 247 Sports lists Sancomb as the #18 combo guard in the country in the recruiting class of 2026, and the #1 combo guard in West Virginia.

Along with Murray State, Sancomb has posted on his X account about receiving offers from Mercyhurst, Youngstown State, Marshall and Drexel.
While helping Wheeling Central Catholic win a West Virginia Class AA state championship, Sancomb averaged 25.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.6 steals per game this season. He finished the season shooting 54.4% from the floor, 36.0% from three-point range and 84.8% from the free throw line.
