Secrist officially signs with Murray State
WBB: The sophomore guard led Indiana State in scoring this past season
Keslyn Secrist, who led Indiana State in scoring this past season, has signed to continue her basketball career at Murray State.
Secrist averaged 13.8 points per game for the Sycamores, knocking down 35.7% of her shots from three-point range.
"Keslyn is an outstanding addition for our program," Murray State Head Coach Rechelle Turner said in a statement. "She will provide great size and skill on the wing, and we are extremely pleased to add a player that has already established herself as a high-quality Missouri Valley Conference player. Keslyn will give us another gifted shooter to space the floor, and was one of the nation's best free throw shooters last season. She is a hard-nosed competitor, and she will arrive eager to win and add her character to our championship culture. We are very excited to add Keslyn to the Murray State women's basketball family."

Secrist played just 9.1 minutes and scored 4.2 points per game as a freshman during the 2023-24 season. This year, she was in the starting lineup in 31 of 32 games, playing 34.5 minutes a game while scoring 13.8 points and grabbing 4.8 rebounds a night.
Her shooting numbers increased dramatically from her freshman to sophomore seasons. In her first year at Indiana State, Secrist 36.4% from the field, 33.3% from three and 78.4% from the free throw line. This past season, she knocked down 43.5% of her shots, 35.7% from beyond the arc and 88.8% from the charity stripe.
