In the COVID season of 2020-21, Murray State Head Coach Rechelle Turner had five true freshmen on her roster: Hannah McKay, Lucia Operto, Bria Sanders-Woods, Charlee Settle and Katelyn Young. Fast forward to tomorrow, and that fivesome will play their final home game together when the Racers host Indiana State.

“Just being here for four years,” Sanders-Woods said, “Just thinking about the love and everyone that has taken care of me — the staff and the people that I’ve met so far is kind of what makes it sweet, but it’s bitter to be leaving.”

Every senior class is special in its own way for a head coach, but this senior class has extra meaning for Turner.
