Smith honored in Mongolian League
MBB: The former Racer just finished his first season playing in Mongolia
Mongolia’s National Premier League has named Murray State standout Anthony Smith the best Import Player for the 2023-24 season.
In 23 games with the IHC Apes this season, Smith averaged 17.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. The 26-year-old shot 63% from two-point range this season.
In his best game of the season, Smith had 37 points and 12 rebounds in a win on January 20th.
After graduating from Murray State in 2020, Smith has played professionally in Serbia, Portugal, France, Mexico and Mongolia.
