In the life of a college basketball player, ‘summer break’ can be a relative term. When Murray State’s women’s team returned to campus after Memorial Day, the month of June was filled with camps, individual workouts and team practices. After that four-week sprint, the team is now home for the entire month of July. While that move might be unorthodox for some programs, Murray State Head Coach Rechelle Turner is very purposeful with her decision.
