MBB: Three former Racers played internationally today

In Mexico, Ivan Aska scored a team-high 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Soles de Mexicali fell, 89-86, to Freseros de Irapuato. Aska was 7-of-11 from the field and 7-of-9 from the free throw line. Mexicali has now lost seven of their last eight games. These two teams will meet again tomorrow night.

Elsewhere in the LNPB, Wayne Langston scored nine points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out three assists to help lead Abejas de León to a 98-74 blowout win over Halcones de Xalapa. The Abejas have won five of their last seven games and are currently in 4th place in the LNPB East Division standings. Langston is averaging 12.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season.

In Greece, Isaiah Canaan scored five points today in an exhibition game as Olympiacos fell to Emporio Armani Milan 57-50. The teams only played three quarters before the game was called. Canaan is in his second season with Olympiacos. Olympiacos will begin play in the EuroLeague starting on October 6th.
