Tevin Brown named to NBL's 'All Star Five'
MBB: Brown averaged 18.1 points per game in his first season in New Zealand

The New Zealand Basketball League named Tevin Brown to their ‘All Star Five’ on Tuesday — the equivalent of earning First Team All-League honors.
The former Murray State standout averaged 18.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game this season for the Canterbury Rams. In 18 games this year, Brown scored at least 20 points on seven different occasions. He scored a season-high 30 points June 3rd against the Hawkes Bay Hawks.
Canterbury will play Hawkes on Thursday in the opening round of the NBL playoffs at the Trusts Arena in Auckland. The NBL playoffs are single-elimination. If the Rams win Thursday, they’ll play in the semifinals on Friday. The NBL championship game will be played on Saturday.
