"Thankful" Applewhite ready to help Racers
MBB: The Portland transfer played for the first time this season at Little Rock
Seven days ago, Murray State sophomore forward Alden Applewhite was part of the Racers’ scout team, helping his teammates prepare for a game against Southeastern Louisiana. As a two-time transfer, Applewhite was ineligible to play this season after playing his first two collegiate seasons at Mississippi State and Portland. Instead of playing, he’d spend the year working on developing his own game while helping the Racers prepare for upcoming opponents.
