In tonight’s podcast, ahead of Saturday’s rivalry matchup between Murray State and Western Kentucky, we talk with WKU Assistant Coach Tim MacAllister. Back in 2010, MacAllister walked into the basketball offices at Murray State — and the rest is history. After three seasons of working as a student manager for Billy Kennedy and Steve Prohm, MacAllister started his coaching journey that has led him from Emory University to now being an assistant at WKU.
We talk about the impact Amir Abdur-Rahim had on him at Murray State and beyond, how the different roles he’s had over the years have helped him as a coach, and what he loves most about the Murray State/Western Kentucky rivalry.
