I’m a firm believer that any time you can reference a 17th-century French playwright when describing a soon-to-be college basketball player, you better not miss your chance. Destiny Thomas has had her share of obstacles. She’s overcome them. Time will ultimately tell the amount of glory Thomas and her future Murray State teammates will be able to achieve.

A natural athlete, Thomas did a little bit of everything as a kid, whether it was volleyball, cheerleading, softball, or gymnastics. When Thomas finally turned her attention to basketball, she quickly developed a one-track mind.
