So much about sports is very much black and white. Did you win or did you lose? So often, the difference between victory and defeat is as narrow as the closest distance between your thumb and index finger.

Last week, Murray State had a chance to show how far they had come in their journey to closing what was once a pretty cavernous gap between themselves and the elite teams in the Missouri Valley Conference.
