Outside of the professional ranks, it’s nearly impossible for an on-the-court relationship between a coach and player to last a decade. For Murray State’s Rechelle Turner, she was blessed with three of those relationships in the last ten years.

Turner coached Macey Turley, Alexis Burpo, and Lex Mayes during Turner’s wildly successful run at Murray High School. While Turner left Murray High to move on to Murray State before that trio’s senior season, their separation was short-lived. On November 9, 2017, Turner announced the signing of her first recruiting class which included Turley, Burpo, and Mayes.
