MBB: The former Racer standout has been named part of the 2025 Hall of Fame class

Murray State has announced former Racer standout Cuthbert Victor will be a part of the 2025 Murray State Athletics Hall of Fame class.
Victor, the 2004 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, was part of two NCAA Tournament teams at Murray State in 2002 and 2004. Recruited out of the Virgin Islands, Victor played for both Tevester Anderson and Mick Cronin in his Racer career.
"On behalf of each of our student-athletes, coaches and staff, I want to congratulate our newest inductees to the Murray State Athletics Hall of Fame," Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said in a statement. "Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is a tremendous honor, and these Racer greats are incredibly deserving of this recognition. We are looking forward to celebrating them in the coming months."
Victor will be joined by Danny Alfeldt (Baseball), Alexa Becker (Softball), Casey Brockman (Football), Marcus Harris (Football), Rachel Giustino (Volleyball), Tonia Pratt (Track & Field) and Ivan Roe (Rifle) in this year’s class.
Playing at Murray State from 2000-04, Victor scored 1,485 points, which is still good for 17th on Murray State’s all-time scoring list. He’s the program’s all-time leader in blocked shots (160), 4th in steals (167), and 6th in rebounds (935). According to StatHead.com, since 1986-87, Victor is one of only 18 players to accumulate at least 1,485 points, 935 rebounds, 167 steals and 160 blocks in a career. He is one of 16 Racers to be earn All-American honors.
After leaving Murray State, Victor enjoyed a 13-year professional career that included stops in Spain, Russia, France, South Korea and Puerto Rico.
This Hall of Fame class will be recognized in early 2026, but an exact date has yet to be determined.
