When the preseason polls are released in the coming months, the general consensus is that Murray State will be picked among the handful of favorites expected to make a run at a Missouri Valley Conference championship this season. Part of the reason for those expectations is the return of Nick Ellington, and no one is expecting more from the senior forward this season than his head coach.
