Williams playing next season in Greece
MBB: The former Racer played for the OKC Blue in the G League last year

Former Murray State standout KJ Williams has signed to play with Promitheas Patras in the Greek Basket League next season.
Williams just wrapped up his first professional season in the NBA G League with the Oklahoma City Blue. Williams averaged 11.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists for OKC as he helped the Blue win their first-ever G League championship.
The 2022 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year spent four seasons in a Murray State uniform, helping the Racers win three OVC regular season championships and earn two trips to the NCAA Tournament. In his time in Murray, Williams scored 1,667 points (12th in Racer history) and grabbed 888 rebounds (7th all-time).
After the 2021-22 season, Williams took advantage of his COVID year and played a fifth season of college hoops at LSU. He averaged 17.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game as he earned 2nd Team All-SEC honors.
Promitheas Patras begins their 2024-25 season on October 5th.
