Young plays in first professional game
WBB: The former Racer great is playing for the Knox Raiders in Australia

Last Saturday, Katelyn Young was in a wedding for some college friends in Murray. Today, Young played in her first professional basketball game in Australia.
Life comes at you fast.
Playing for the Knox Raiders in Australia’s NBL1, Young went scoreless in five minutes of action as the Raiders beat Kilsyth, 68-61. Young missed her only shot, but did grab three rebounds and dished out one assist in the win.

After just arriving in Australia this week, Young only started practicing with the team on Thursday, so there is still plenty for her to learn in the coming days with her new team. She will get that time over the next two weeks, as the Raiders won’t play another game until June 14th.
With their third-straight win, the Raiders improved to 10-3 overall. There are nine games left in the regular season, which ends July 19th, before the playoffs begin.
Mrs Levin, your 2nd grad teacher. May I wish you luck to match all you hard work and grace to see it through.
