Murray State adds Bellarmine to schedule
MBB: This will be the third-ever meeting between the two schools
Murray State announced on Thursday they will host Bellarmine on December 6th at the CFSB Center. This will be the third meeting between the two programs after they played a home-and-home series back in 2021 and 2022.
This game on December 6th will also be the night Murray State’s 1999-2000 Ohio Valley Conference championship team will be honored as they receive their championship rings.
In all, the Racers will play five home games, one road game and five neutral-site games in the non-conference portion of their schedule.

With today’s announcement, Murray State’s non-conference schedule is essentially complete. The only missing pieces to the puzzle are finding who the Racers will play, and when, in their home exhibition game; the date for the home game with Little Rock; and the opponent for the Field of 68 Opening Day Showcase game on November 3rd.
Here’s how this season’s non-conference schedule looks at this moment:
October 18th — at Xavier (Exhibition)
TBA — Home exhibition game
TBA — Home vs. Little Rock (Back end of a home-and-home series that started in 2023-24)
November 3 — vs. TBA (in Sioux Falls, SD at The Field of 68 Opening Day Showcase)
November 7 — vs. Mississippi Valley State
November 11 — at SMU
November 15 — vs. Nicholls
November 23 — vs. Middle Tennessee (Cayman Islands Classic)
November 24 — vs. McNeese (Cayman Islands Classic)
November 25 — vs. George Washington (Cayman Islands Classic)
December 2 — vs. Morehead State
December 6 — vs. Bellarmine
December 13 — vs. Akron (in Henderson, Nevada at the Jack Jones Classic)
The Missouri Valley’s conference schedule likely won’t be released until closer to September.
